Next to Fox’s mid-season drama The Following, The CW’s The Cult may this season’s most ambitious mid-season drama. The series has been slotted into the former Emily Owens, MD timeslot following Hart of Dixie – a placement that seems peculiar at best. On the plus side, it co-stars everyone’s favorite portrayer of psychopaths, Robert Knepper.

Great promo. Cult definitely sounds ambitious, but it looks intriguing and I plan to check it out. I probably won’t have time to watch it right away because I work a lot of overtime at DISH in February and March, but I’ll save it on my DVR. I have the DISH Hopper, which has enough room in its two terabyte hard drive to save Cult’s entire season along with all my other shows, so it will be easy for me to watch Cult whenever I have time. If it turns out to be any good then I hope they move it to a more appropriate night, following something less lighthearted than Hart of Dixie.
