truTV has announced spring premiere dates for its slate of programs – including new series Late Night Snack, a show that premieres a range of fresh, funny comic shorts before they hit the internet.
Hidden camera hit, The Carbanaro Effect (pictured) premieres on March 23rd; Hack My Life returns on March 29th; comedy-centric docuseries truInside premieres on February 29th; Late Night Snack’s series premiere is March 3rd, and competition series Comedy Knockout returns on April 29th.

truTV is aiming to expand its audience with six new series that will give a younger, dual-gender audience a fun experience. Among the new shows are: Fake-Off, ‘a Kabuki-inspired, pop-culture-themed talent competition series;’ Way Out West, ‘a reality western;’ How to Be a Grown Up, which seems pretty straightforward in its comic possibilities; Local News (working title), ‘a look at the playful rivalry between the news teams at two small town television stations;’ and Hair Jacked, ‘a new ambush game show that gives contestants the opportunity to win big money or go home with the cut of the day.’
The network has also ordered thirteen more episodes of The Carbanaro Effect after getting a great respons to the April 1 sneakpeek, which was a kind of Candid Camera with magic. As well, truTV will launch an Impractical Jokers spin-off, Jokers Wild! For more details, see the press release after the jump.
