South Park is coming to HBO Max – all 23 seasons will premiere on the streaming service in June, with episodes from the next three seasons premiering on HBO Max the day after they air on Comedy Central.
The biggest comics-to-television producer in the world, Greg Berlanti, has announced two new DC-inspired series exclusively for HBO Max. Strange Adventures will be a one-hour anthology series featuring characters from across the DC universe, while the Green Lantern-inspired series will be based on the characters of the iconic DC comic.
HBO Max has announced three half-hour comedy series: DC Super Hero High from Elizabeth Banks; half-hour comedy series Rap Sh*t (workling title) from Issa Rae and College Girls from Mindy Kaling.
When HBO Max debuts it will feature an array of programming for kids and families that will include classic Warner Bros. (Merrie Melodies) and Hanna-Barbera cartoons (Scooby-Do, Yogi Bear), along with new shows Looney Tunes and Jellystone. New series also include The Fungies and Tig N’ Seek and Robert Zemeckis’ live-action/animation hybrid comedy Tooned Out.
The champion of all things B-movie, Joe Bob Briggs continues his successful run at Shudder with the holiday special, Joe Bob’s Red Christmas – a holiday triple feature of ‘the cult, the classic and the bizarre.’ Joe Bob’s Red Christmas will stream on Friday, December 13th at 9 p.m. (ET).
On November 1st, Hulu and Vice will launch Vice Investigates – a new docuseries featuring reports from Vice’s award-winning journalists. Hulu has ordered ten episodes including Amazon on Fire, Russia’s War on Hip-Hop and A Middle East Divided.

Rooster Teeth’s animated series gen:Lock – which stars Michael B. Jordan – has been given an order for a second season by HBO Max. The first season of the dystopian series was a huge success on Rooster Teeth prompting the move by HBO Max.
HBO Max has unveiled two docuseries – Heaven’s Gate and Generation Hustle – and two documentary films – The Scoop and Persona – from CNN Films.
