TNT ORDERS RIDLEY SCOTT’S RAISED BY WOLVES STRAIGHT TO SERIES!

TNT has ordered Ridley Scott’s Raised by Wolves straight to series.

The sci-fi series centers upon two androids tasked with raising human children on a mysterious virgin planet. As the burgeoning colony of humans threatens to be torn apart by religious differences the androids learn that controlling the beliefs of humans is a treacherous and difficult task.

A premiere date is TBD.

Preposterous Trailer: Strange Angel!

Strange Angel, a drama series created by Mark Heyman (“Black Swan,” “The Skeleton Twins”) and based on George Pendle’s book of the same name, is inspired by the real life story of Jack Parsons and explores the dramatic intersection between genius and madness, science and science fiction.

Strange Angel premieres on CBS All Access on June 14th.

Strange Angel, a drama series created by Mark Heyman (“Black Swan,” “The Skeleton Twins”) and based on George Pendle’s book of the same name, is inspired by the real life story of Jack Parsons and explores the dramatic intersection between genius and madness, science and science fiction.

Jack Parsons (Jack Reynor), a brilliant and ambitious blue-collar worker in 1930s Los Angeles, works as a janitor at a chemical factory but dreams of building rockets that will take mankind to the moon. As he helps pioneer the unknown discipline of rocket science by day, by night, Parsons is pulled into a new occult religion created by Aleister Crowley, performing sex magick rituals to bend the world to his will and make his fantastical dreams a reality.

The cast of STRANGE ANGEL includes Jack Reynor, Rupert Friend, Bella Heathcote, Peter Mark Kendall, Michael Gaston, Greg Wise, Rade Šerbedžija, Zack Pearlman and Keye Chen.

STRANGE ANGEL is produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Scott Free Productions. Mark Heyman, David DiGilio, Ridley Scott and David W. Zucker serve as executive producers. FOX Dramas The Passage and Proven Innocent to Premiere at Midseason!

FOX has an epic thriller – The Passage, and a legal drama – Proven Innocent – set for midseason.

Based on author Justin Cronin’s best-selling trilogy of the same name, The Passage includes Ridley Scott amongst its executive producers.

Ridley Scott’s All the Money in the World Coming on Blu-ray!

Ridley Scott’s All the Money in the World – which earned an Oscar® nomination for Christopher Plummer, who replaced Kevin Spacey, and shot his part in next to no time, finishing days before the film’s release – has been released on Digital today, with Blu-ray and DVD releases coming on April 10th.

Ridley Scott Developing Sci-Fi Block for TNT!

Ridley Scott (Alien, Blade Runner, The Martian) is developing a sci-fi block for TNT.

Initial plans call for the block to serve as a showcase for hour-long series, short-form programs and other formats to be developed in collaboration with Scott.

This will be Scott’s second project with TNT. He previously served as executive producer on the network’s award-winning CIA miniseries The Company in 2007.
