Season two of Counterpart – premiering on Sunday, December 9th (10/9C) – finds Howard and Howard Alpha stranded in each other’s world. Now they get to live out the answers to those questions.
A cold war and the closing of the door between Earths leave both Howards in extreme situations. Howard Prime takes on his other’s life: going to his job, living in his home… with his wife. Howard Alpha is locked in a mysterious black site known as Echo, cut off from everyone he knows.
Counterpart: Season 2 will premiere day and date on Starz in the U.S., the UK and Germany (exclusively on STARZPLAY via Prime Video Channels in the UK and Germany) on December 9th (9/8C).
William Petersen – best known for playing Dr. Gil Grissom on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation – is returning to television as the ‘enigmatic’ new commander at Los Alamos, Colonel Emmett Darrow on WGN America’s Manhattan.
He will be a regular for the critically-acclaimed series’ second season – which goes into production in New Mexico in April for a 2015 premiere. For moe, follow the jump.
Unlike its first scripted series, Salem, WGN’s new original series, Manhattan, is named not after its setting, but for its subject – The Manhattan Project, which was name of the top secret work on developing the atomic bomb. The series, which stars The Big C’s John Benjamin Hickey and Olivia Williams (Dollhouse), is built around the project’s need for secrecy and the lies that are part of the lives of everyone in peripherally involved.
