Sherlock: Season Four – The Brilliant Outweighs The Awful!

The return of Sherlock after an absence of two years – not counting the one-off The Abominable Bride – set audience records then dropped off precipitously. 19th Century Sociopathic Man Trailer: The Sherlock Special!

Sherlock - Deerstalker and Handlebar Mustache

Take Benedict Cumberbatch’s Sherlock Holmes and Martin Freeman’s Watson and stick them back in the 19th Century and what do you get? Ghosts, by Jove! Ghosts!

Check it out after the jump. The Sherlock Special will air on PBS’ Masterpiece Classic sometime in the near future. There will also be a special theatrical event release – again, with no specific date set.
