ABC has unveiled its schedule for the fall 2014-15 season. There are six new shows on the schedule – Forever, black-ish, How to Get Away With Murder, Selfie, Manhattan Love Story and Cristela – with Forever getting a two-night premiere in the form of a ‘special sneak preview’ on Monday, September 22nd and then debuting in its regular timeslot on Tuesday, September 23rd, following the returning Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The Shonda Rimes series How to Get Away With Murder (above) premieres as the closing hour Shondaland Night follwoing the return of Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal on Thursday, September 25th.
In a bold move, the network has new comedies in the first hour of primetime on Tuesdays, with Selfie and Manhattan Love Story premiering on September 30th. The other two new half-hour comedies – black-ish and Cristela, debut on Wednesday, September 24th and Friday, October 10th respectively. The complete schedule for ABC’s fall lineup follows the jump.
For fall of the 2014-15 season, ABC has added six new shows: Selfie, Manhattan Love Story, Forever, Black-ish, How to Get Away with Murder and Cristela – three half-hour comedies and three dramas/dramedies. Waiting in the wings for mid-season are: American Crime, Fresh Off the Boat, Galavant, Marvel’s Agent Carter, Secrets and Lies and The Whispers – three dramas, a musical dramedy and two half-hour comedies. Marvel’s Agent Carter and Galavant will serve as bridge series between fall and spring runs of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD and Once Upon a Time, respectively.
Some notable shifts among returning shows: Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal each move up an hour on Thursdays with How to Get Away with Murder sliding into the 10 pm slot; SHIELD moves back an hour, with Selfie and Manhattan Love Story taking over its former timeslot.
