One of the best fantasy trilogies I’ve read is Ransom Riggs’ Peculiar Children books. The story of people with peculiar abilities that aren’t accepted in the regular world – and how they live in pockets of suspended time – is an ingenious one.
Now Tim Burton has adapted the first book, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, for film and brought to life its array of fascinating and peculiar characters.
The first trailer is something special. Check it out after the break. Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children stars Eva Green, Asa Butterfield and Ella Purnell and opens on September 30th.
