For $5.99/Month, “CBS All Access” Delivers Full Seasons of Current Primetime, Plus Leading Daytime and Late Night CBS Shows, Thousands of Episodes from CBS’s Library of Classics, Plus Live Streaming of Local CBS Stations in Select Markets

NEW YORK – April 7, 2014 – CBS Corporation today announced the availability of CBS All Access, the CBS Television Network’s digital subscription video on demand and Nielsen-measured live streaming service, on the Roku® platform.

For $5.99 a month, CBS All Access will offer Roku player and Roku TV users thousands of episodes from the current season, previous seasons and classic shows on demand, as well as the ability to stream local CBS television stations live in 14 of the largest U.S. markets, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Philadelphia, with more to be added soon. CBS All Access subscribers can also use the service on their Android and iOS devices via the CBS App and online at CBS.com.

“The launch of the CBS All Access Channel marks the first of many connected device platforms we’ll be bringing this service to in the coming months,” said Marc DeBevoise, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Entertainment, Sports and News, for CBS Interactive. “This launch brings us even closer to delivering on our promise to give our viewers access to more of CBS’s world-class programming on whichever platform they choose.”

The CBS All Access Channel will replace the current CBS Channel, which offers clips. Existing users will automatically be upgraded to the new channel today and will still have the opportunity to watch clips without being a CBS All Access subscriber. They will also be able to browse the channel’s entire library. New subscribers will be able to sign up directly through their Roku device or by visiting www.cbs.com/all-access/roku. Current CBS All Access subscribers can simply log in using their existing username and password.

The CBS All Access Channel brings all of the benefits currently available to CBS All Access subscribers to TV screens through the Roku platform, including:

  • Full current seasons of 16 primetime shows with episodes available the day after they air, including this season’s new series SCORPION, MADAM SECRETARY, NCIS: NEW ORLEANS, THE ODD COUPLE and more.
  • The ability to live stream local CBS stations in 14 of the largest markets at launch, with more to be added as affiliates join the new service.
  • Full past seasons of eight major current series, including THE GOOD WIFE, BLUE BLOODS and SURVIVOR.
  • Nearly 6,000 episodes of CBS Classics in an advertising-free environment, including all episodes of hits like STAR TREK, CHEERS, JAG, TOUCHED BY AN ANGEL and CSI: MIAMI.
  • Access to exclusive additional content for CBS Television’s biggest special events like THE GRAMMY® AWARDS, THE ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS and THE VICTORIA’S SECRET FASHION SHOW.
