Decker: Unclassified To Deliver Another Dose of Action With An All-New Season
Adult Swim announced today that it has picked up a new season of Decker: Unclassified, the action-packed, patriotic comedy created by and starring Tim Heidecker and Gregg Turkington. Production on the hit comedy started today in Los Angeles.
Decker first premiered in 2014 on AdultSwim.com as part of the network’s ongoing commitment to creating original content online, following their fans across multiple platforms and extending traditional viewing hours beyond the boundaries of linear programming. Adult Swim, basic cable’s #1 home with millennials for over a decade, has launched a second slate of original programming that is streaming all day long on AdultSwim.com.
After three seasons online, Decker: Unclassified premiered its first linear season this past June on Adult Swim. The first season averaged a weekly total delivery of over a million viewers and experienced year-over-year audience growth in its time period across key adult and male demos. In addition, the premieres, on average, delivered with adults 18-34 an increase versus the same period last year and among adults 18-49, posted a double-digit increase year-over-year. All season long, premieres regularly won its timeslot versus all basic cable among key adults and male demos.
Produced by Abso Lutley Productions, Decker: Unclassified is an action packed powerhouse that follows Agent Jack Decker (Heidecker) as he subverts terrorist plots against his beloved America. Joined by ally and master code breaker Agent Jonathan Kington (Turkington), the two navigate evils both foreign and domestic threatening a once great nation. The quarter-hour series also stars Joe Estevez as President Davidson.
