Charlie XCX will host this year’s 13 Nights of Halloween on Freeform – and launch her new single, After the Afterparty’ during the programming event.
The 2016 edition of 13 Nights of Halloween will include the netwrok premiere of R.L. Stine’s Monsterville: Cabinet of Souls; the Freeform premiere of Spooky Buddies and perennial favorite Hocus Pocus.
Freeform’s 13 Nights of Halloween begins on Wednesday, October 19th and runs through Monday, October 31st.

Network Will Air Interstitials Featuring Charli XCX’s New Single ‘After the Afterparty’
Grammy-nominated songwriter Charli XCX will be getting her scream on during Freeform’s “13 Nights of Halloween” programming stunt with hosted interstitials from OCTOBER 19 – 31. During that time, Freeform viewers and Charli fans will get an exclusive sneak peek at her new single, “After the Afterparty,” which will be released wide to the public on October 28.
Freeform scares up some fun with its annual 13 NIGHTS OF HALLOWEEN celebration, featuring programming filled with thrills and chills as you count down to Halloween. Now in its 18th year, the popular programming event kicks off on Wednesday, October 19 and concludes on Monday, October 31. It will feature the network television premiere of “R.L. Stine’s Monsterville: Cabinet of Souls” and the Freeform premiere of “Spooky Buddies.” Plus, the perennial favorite “Hocus Pocus.”
Marking another milestone in the starlet’s career, the 24-year-old global pop phenomenon Charli XCX recently revealed her new record label Vroom Vroom Recordings and also released a four-track ”Vroom Vroom” EP recorded in Stockholm, showcasing her prowess for producing musical gold. Charli performed two South by Southwest showcases alongside electronic/synth-pop producer SOPHIE whom she worked with on the new EP venture for her next release. The songwriter, A&R business woman and artist has toured the globe over the past couple of years to mark the release of her critically acclaimed second studio album “SUCKER,” recently penned Selena Gomez’s U.S. No. 1 “Same Old Love,” and achieved the Billboard “Hitmaker of the Year” Award (2014) alongside four SESAC Pop Music Awards (2016).
