Looks like there are a variety of definitions
for the term “chick flick”, some which are
very negative.
My definition is NOT derogatory, rather
implies that the film is designed for or
has a subject matter that will appeal
to women. I guess there should be
“guy flick” for something like
Private Ryan – which would be for
primarily men.
PERHAPS, you can come up with
one or more terms that will show
the difference between a “put-down”
and a recommendation (or maybe
warning).
