Zack Snyder to direct next Superman film

Here’s some Superman news that’s spreading through the internet faster than a speeding bullet. According to Deadline.com Producers Christopher Nolan and Emma Thomas have picked out their director from their short list of possible directors to helm the upcoming Man Of Steel film. Their decision has come to, none other than…..ZACK SNYDER

For those who aren’t familiar with his work, he has directed the movies: Legend of the Guardians: The Owls Of Ga’Hoole, Watchmen, 300, and Dawn Of The Dead. The funny thing about this is that when Zack Snyder was first offered the job, he turned it down but  two weeks later, he accepted the job and decided to move forward.

Here’s what Zack Snyder had to say: I’ve been a big fan of the character for a long time, he’s definitely the king of all superheroes, he’s the one. Zack Snyder is currently working on post-production for the film Sucker Punch but he also had this say about the Superman film: it’s early yet, but I can tell you that what David(S.Goyer) and Chris have done with the story so far definitely has given me a great insight into a way to make him feel modern. I’ve always felt he was kind of awesome. I’ll finish Sucker Punch and get right at it.

I personally think Zack Snyder will do a great job with this film and since he has David Goyer and Chris Nolan to back him up, he really can’t do wrong with this film. My only question is who will score the film? James Newton Howard and Hans Zimmer maybe? Who ever they choose to score it, I’m sure we’ll hear a little bit of the original Superman theme composed by John Williams. I’m personally looking forward to production of this movie and I’m sure we’ll see a great Superman film
