NBC has a new series coming that is based on the life of a real-life female heart surgeon. It’s called Heartbeat and stars Melissa
George as Dr. Alex Panttiere, who, when she’s not cracking open chests, plays a mean game of one-on-one basketball (among other things).
While a premiere date has yet to be set for Heartbeat, the network’s first trailer avers that it’s coming soon. Check it out after the break.
