I feel like I’ve seen this show already, oh yeah, it was called Gotham.

The entire premise of this feels like a Gotham 2.0 without the cast that I grew to love. My other problem with this, is it sits along side the movie verse, but the movie verse is a planned trilogy, how do you create a series where you really can’t touch on anything that’s going to happen in the movies? Unless the plan is to run it like Marvel is doing it’s Disney Plus shows where they will actually feed into each other.

I also think this announcement is further proof that DC Universe will not be around next year, as a new Batman show absolutely should be there and not on HBOMax.
