The guy had 2 hours of sleep.. a whirlwind of a day no practice with the band and had over 27,000 people attend his concert
Why? because they love him..He also sang in front of 40,000 that night at the Brewers game and did a fantastic job on the national anthem so give it a rest !!! Is he perfect no but neither are you. Or any other American Idol Contestant for that matter.

Some writers and some people are unbelievable. Danny gave a great free concert singing some seven or eight songs (not 2 like the others did in their hometowns). 26,000 turned out to see Danny and he gave them everything he had even with a very sore throat. He put his own band together and conducted them on stage (since of course there had been no time to actually practice much). I cannot believe the amount of crap that has been thrown at this talented, nice kid? Why? Because he's religious and not gay? Cuz his wife died and he persevered in her honor? C'mon people grow up. This is a singing competition not a competition of who you like the most, or what personal problems you have that you want to use the contestants to make up for, or to make your own bigoted beliefs heard. The media is truely rotten to the core and is hurting this country so badly.
One should memorize the lyrics before attempting to sing in front of such a large crowd. Billie Jean is a classic, I'm only 23 year young and know the complete song. But I can also understand that the pressure is on now and that is a much larger crowd than he is used to in the AI studio.
