I know this may come as a shock to some of you, but I do know how to read, and sometimes I read books. Go figure! BBC Books just announced a brand new Doctor Who ebook called Tales of Trenzalore which tells 4 stories based on The Doctor’s 900 year stay protecting the town of Christmas, as seen in last month’s Christmas episode “The Time of the Doctor”. I don’t know, as much as I love, LOVED The Day of the Doctors, but felt really let down by the recent Christmas special. This ebook will hopefully shed some light on everything. It is available now for pre-order and streets February 27th. I don’t understand this idea of pre-ordering digital content.
As it had been foretold, the armies of the Universe gathered at Trenzalore. Only one thing stood between the planet and destruction – the Doctor. For nine hundred years, he defended the planet, and the tiny town of Christmas, against the forces that would destroy it.
He never knew how long he could keep the peace. He never knew what creatures would emerge from the snowy night to threaten him next. He knew only that at the end he would die on Trenzalore.
Some of what happened during those terrible years is well documented. But most of it remains shrouded in mystery and darkness.
Until now.
This is a glimpse of just some of the terrors the people faced, the monstrous threats the Doctor defeated. These are the tales of the monsters who found themselves afraid – and of the one man who was not.
TALES OF TRENZALORE is now available for pre-order across all major ebook retailers- Amazon, Nook, Kobo, Google Play and Apple iBooks. It will be released on February 27th, and priced at $3.99.
Damn! Is it only in eBook? Who can afford an eReader? I’ve only just gotten to HDTV!
You don’t need an ereader, most of the ereader apps will work on your computer – Kindle, Nook, Google Play you can read your books on your PC.
