ABC announced it summer 2112 schedule today and it’s 89% reality-based programming. Of the nine new and returning series, only one is a scripted, fictional series – Rookie Blue [and drama doesn’t get much lighter than that…].

New are Duets, a singing competition for duos – with a twist; Trust Us with Your Life, wherein celebrities reminiscing about their lives – and improv comics performing their takes on those reminiscences; and Final Witness, which will examine one murder each week – from the victims perspective – and will combine interviews with scripted re-enactments.

Besides Rookie Blue, returning series include: Secret Millionaire, Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition, Wipeout, Bachelor Pad and The Bachelorette.
