Big Balls Bouncing Back–ABC Gives Wipeout Seventh Season!

One of the wackiest, most physically demanding reality competition series, ABC’s Wipeout is coming back for a seventh season – with one big difference: lucky seven will be a Tournament of Champions event! The new season will also have new, specially themed episodes –  like a chance to win a date with Jill Wagner, and the return of some of big favorites – like Bosses & Employees.

ABC Announces 2012 Summer Schedule!

ABC announced it summer 2112 schedule today and it’s 89% reality-based programming. Of the nine new and returning series, only one is a scripted, fictional series – Rookie Blue [and drama doesn’t get much lighter than that…].

New are Duets, a singing competition for duos – with a twist; Trust Us with Your Life, wherein celebrities reminiscing about their lives – and improv comics performing their takes on those reminiscences; and Final Witness, which will examine one murder each week – from the victims perspective – and will combine interviews with scripted re-enactments.

Besides Rookie Blue, returning series include: Secret Millionaire, Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition, Wipeout, Bachelor Pad and The Bachelorette.

ABC Unveils Mid-Season Premieres!

ABC announced the eight shows that will comprise the additions to its mid-season schedule – including one sitcom [Work It, four reality shows [Celebrity Wife Swap, Wipeout, Shark Tank and the next round of Dancing With the Stars] and three hour-long shows [The River, GCB and Missing].

ABC’s Summer 2011 Schedule Includes Two Scripted and Eight Unscripted Shows!

ABC announced their summer schedule today and to no one’s surprise, it had two more scripted series than NBC – which is to say, two scripted series – along with eight mostly mind-numbing reality shows. Returning shows include: Rookie Blue, Wipeout, Bachelor Pad and The Bachelorette. New shows include: The Hot Zone, 101 Ways to Leave a Game Show, Expedition Impossible, Take the Money and Run, Extreme Makeover: Weight-Loss Edition and America’s Karaoke Challenge.
