Friday the 13th will be a lucky day for Torchwood fans!
Torchwood: Miracle Day is coming to BBC America – along with Season Two and Torchwood: Children of Earth. Torchwood Season Two and torchwood: Children of Earth will run in a marathon on Friday, September 13th to lead in to Miracle Day’s premiere on Saturday, September 14th at 9/8C. The endgame begins with episode eight ofTorchwood: Miracle Day, End of the Road [Friday, August 26 at 10pm ET/PT], which finds Jack (John Barrowman) facing a showdown with a man he thought was long since dead, while Rex (Mekhi Phifer) takes extreme action to prevent the collapse of society. Wayne Knight (“Seinfeld,” and Jurassic Park) continues his guest appearances as Brian Friedkin, a powerful Section Chief wielding great power first of three within the CIA. John De Lancie (Star Trek: The Next Generation) and Nana Visitor (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine) also guest star.
If you love Torchwood: Miracle Day, here’s a little news tidbit to give you hope for more highly entertaining original programming from Starz Entertainment – the company has signed a deal with the BBC Worldwide Productions [home of Torchwood: Miracle Day, Dancing With The Stars, Top Gear and What Not To Wear] to develop, produce and distribute original programming.

With the premiere of Torchwood: Miracle Day a mere seven weeks away, Starz has announced the 10-episode event’s guest cast – a cast that includes Wayne Knight, C. Thomas Howell, Ernie Hudson, Nana Visitor, John DeLancie, Mare Winningham and Frances Fisher.
