Screen Gems has just released a new poster (above) and trailer for Underworld: Blood Wars. The poster is pretty cool – it does have Kate Beckinsale in it.
The trailer is a flashy, kinetic burst of chaos that is exciting, but not quite coherent. It’s definitely a rush, though. Check it out after the break.
Following the success of Divergent, Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Kate Winslet, et al return for Insurgent, the adaptation of the second novel in Veronica Roth’s dystopian YA series. With the heavy lifting of all that exposition taken care of in the first film, Insurgent moves well, provides a few new twists and considerably more action and spectacular CG effects.
Summit Entertainment has released the final trailer for Insurgent, Part 2 of The Divergent Series. It’s title, Stand Together refers to much more than just the Tris/Four relationship.

The next Next Big Thing is, apparently, Divergent, the movie based on the the trilogy of YA novels about a strictly regimented society that allows its citizens to be either brave, intelligent, compassionate, et cetera. At a certain age, every citizen is tested and assigned to a group representing and living that one facet of human personality – and she fails the test (or it just doesn’t work on her), making her a Divergent. Now she will have to learn why there is a plan to destroy all Divergents and, just maybe, save her society. Divergent will be in theaters March 21, 2014.
