JUICE – Powerful Drama Starring Tupac Shakur and Omar Epps Gets Blu-Ray Release for 25th Anniversary!

Ernest R. Dickerson’s powerful first film, JUICE (1992), is the story of the striving for power and happiness (aka ‘the juice’) by four Harlem teenagers: Q (Omar Epps), Bishop (Tupac Shakur), Raheem (Khalil Kain) and Steel (Jermaine Hopkins).

The 25th Anniversary Blu-ray release includes a commentary track by director Dickerson plus four featurettes and a photo gallery: You’ve Got the Juice Now, The Wrecking Crew, Sip the Juice: The Music and Stay in the Scene: The Interview (the DVD will carry all the bonus content, too).

JUICE 25th Anniversary Blu-ray will be in stores on June6th.

Saturday Night Fever Goes Digital HD and Blu-ray for 40th Anniversary!

Paramount Pictures’ Saturday Night Fever is getting its first Blu-ray and Digital HD release for its 40th anniversary.

The home video release of the film that captured/defined its generation will include both the Director’s Cut and Theatrical release in HD – and a five-part look at the film entitled “Catching the Fever,” deleted scenes, behind-the-scenes featurettes, a ‘70s Discopedia, and more.

Saturday Night Fever: 40th Anniversary will be available on Blu-ray and Digital HD on May 2nd.
