Bobby Moynihan has joined the cast of the Syfy pilot, HAPPY! – providing the voice of the titular blue, winged horse.
HAPPY! follows Nick Sax – an intoxicated, corrupt ex-cop turned hit man — who is adrift in a world of casual murder, soulless sex and betrayal. After a hit gone wrong, his inebriated life is forever changed by a tiny, relentlessly positive, imaginary blue winged horse.
There’s a Doctor in the Duck Tales House – and Abed, an SNL cast member and more.
When Duck Tales premieres next summer, David Tennant will be voicing Scrooge McDuck; Dany Pudi, Ben Scwartz and Bobby Moynihan will bring Huey, Dewey and Louie to life, and Kate Micucci will voice Webby Vanderquack.
Toks Olagunde (Mrs. Beakley) and Beck Bennett (Launchpad McQuack) also star. For further details, read on.
FX’s Chozen (Mondays, 10:30/9:30C) is a bit of an odd duck. It’s the first animated series to be built, as our headline suggests, around an ex-con, gay, white rapper. The show could be looked at in a lot of different lights: a satire of rap culture from a unique perspective; a straightforward sitcom about a guy try to make it; the story of a man out of time trying to figure out his life in what has to be a strange, new world, and so on.
Series creator Grant Dekemion and Chozen himself – Bobby Moynihan – talked with a group of journalists/bloggers about this unusual new series.
FX’s Chozen – premiering Monday, January 13, 2014 at 10:30 pm/9:30C – may just give the network’s Archer a run for its money as most outrageous (and best) animation series. Check out the latest promo, as series star Bobby Moynihan hits the studio to lay down some tracks for the show, after the jump.
