NEW YORK — June 6, 2016 — “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” welcomes President Barack Obama to Studio 6B for the first time on Thursday, June 9 (11:35 p.m. ET on NBC).
Fallon previously interviewed and slow jammed the news with President Obama on April 24, 2012 during a special “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” broadcast from the campus of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
“The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” is America’s #1 late-night talk show, outdelivering his time- period competition on the broadcast networks in every key ratings category. This season, “Tonight” has averaged a 1.03 rating in adults 18-49 and 3.7 million viewers overall, and has topped its ABC and CBS time-slot competition during 35 of 35 weeks in both 18-49 and total viewers.
