NBA Hall of Famer and basketball commentator Charles Barkley is fed up with the way the subject of race is being handled (as in, it’s not!).
He’s created a series to get people talking about prejudice – not after some violent incident (which only followed by shouting, anyway), but on an ongoing basis.
The Race Card is the title of Barkley’s upcoming TNT series that addresses the subject in what will, hopefully, be an intelligent and reasonable manner. It will premiere in 2017. The first teaser follows the jump – it will air during the first game of tonight’s NBA doubleheader on TNT.
