CBS will begin its rollout of 2014-15 programming on Thursday, September 11th, with Thursday Night Football. New Series Madame Secretary premieres leading into The Good Wife on Sunday, September 21st. TV’s biggest comedy, The Big Bang Theory returns on Monday, September 22nd, with two episodes – leading into the series premiere of Scorpion and the second season finale of Under the Dome. NCIS: Los Angeles will slide into Under the Dome’s timeslot one week later. returning comedy Mom also returns on the 29th.
TV’s most popular drama, NCIS returns on Tuesday, Sept. 23rd, leading into the premiere of NCIS: New Orleans and the return of Person of Interest. The two-hour season finale of Extant falls on Wednesday, Sept. 24th, the new season of Criminal Minds and new series Stalker premiering on Oct. 1st. Hawaii Five-0 and blue Bloods return on Friday, Sept. 26th; 2 Broke Girls returns Monday, October 27th, and CBS’ regular Thursday lineup – The Big Bang Theory, The Millers, and Elementary returns on October 30th – joined by new half-hour comedy, The McCarthys. CBS announced today a multi-phase rollout for its new season with fall premiere dates ranging from the kick-off of NFL THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL on Sept. 11 to the launch of its top-rated Thursday entertainment lineup on Oct. 30.
“The addition of THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL provides the flexibility to strategically roll out our fall season in multiple waves, maximizing promotional platforms and scheduling opportunities to give our new and returning series the best possible launch,” said Nina Tassler, Chairman, CBS Entertainment.

Thursday, Sept. 11: NFL THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL premieres on CBS with the Pittsburgh Steelers vs. the Baltimore Ravens (Pre-Game at 7:30 PM/ET; Kick-Off at 8:25 PM/ET).
SUNDAY, SEPT. 21
Sunday, Sept 21: The Network debuts most of its Sunday lineup the night prior to the official launch of the season, beginning with 60 MINUTES (7:00-8:00 PM), the premiere of the new drama MADAM SECRETARY (8:00-9:00 PM) and the award-winning, critically acclaimed THE GOOD WIFE (9:00-10:00 PM).
