Cancelled Shows Get New Venue

On May 23, Bravo is set to launch BrilliantButCancelled.com, a website dedicated to short-lived TV series that still have audience interest.

BrilliantButCancelled.com’s lineup of shows will include such cancelled favorites as “The Jake Effect,” “EZ Streets,” Johnny Staccato,” “Delvecchio,” Gideon Oliver” and “Touching Evil.”

Bravo will be supporting the broadband channel by televising some of the shows on Bravo after they appear on the Web. “The Jake Effect” will air on the cable network on May 25, which is two days after it’s premiere on the new broadband venue. NBCU’s Sleuth channel will also be involved in promoting the broadband venture, and will be airing an “EZ Streets” marathon on May 28.

Episodes of the shows to be run on BrilliantButCancelled.com will also be available at Apple Computer’s iTunes Music Store and will be released on DVD collections by Universal Studios Home Entertainment.
