TV Fans rejoice this week in Blu-ray is for you as Lost S1 and S2 hits the streets, as well as Burn Notice S2. The Lost release scheduling is especially weird when you consider Disney released Lost S3 and S4 first. I’ve been watching the Lost S2 Blu-ray and it is BEAUTIFUL. Disney has this new finagled thing called Season Play which keeps track of where you are in the season, regardless of whether you take the Disc out of the machine or not. It’s very cool. I’ll be doing a full review of Lost S1 and S2 in the next week or so. Surprisingly, I haven’t received my copy of the Burn Notice Blu-rays but I fully expect to be wowed by the picture, I mean it’s a beautiful show in Standard def. And I know the Producers are big believers in the Blu-ray format so the features should be good. There’s also new Blu-rays for Ghostbusters and The Greatest Game Ever Played Last but certainly not least is the Original Friday the 13th Pt 2 and Pt 3 (in 3D with Glasses) are now out. Look for that review in the next few days. Overall, not a bad week for releases at all.
