Angela Bassett is going for the natural horror hat trick. Bassett has signed up for her third straight stint on American Horror Story – joining Lady Gaga, Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Matt Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson, Wes Bentley and Chloë Sevigny on American Horror Story: Hotel.

Production of the 13-Episode Installment Hotel will Begin in Late Summer and air on FX in October

LOS ANGELES, April 30, 2015 – Golden Globe® Award winner Angela Bassett is the latest American Horror Story veteran to return for AHS: Hotel, the fifth installment of Ryan Murphy’s horror anthology series. Bassett joins fellow AHS alum Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Evan Peters, Wes Bentley, Chloë Sevigny and Matt Bomer in the cast of Hotel, along with Lady Gaga and Cheyenne Jackson.

Bassett most recently starred as “Desiree Dupree” in the recently completed AHS: Freak Show and previously as “Marie Laveau” in AHS: Coven, a role that earned her a Primetime Emmy® Award nomination in 2014. She is currently in production on the feature films Survivor and London Has Fallen.

Production of the 13-episode Hotel will begin in Los Angeles in late summer, and will air on FX in October. The American Horror Story franchise is produced by Twentieth Century Fox Television.
