FAMILY GUY HITS 200 EPISODES
AND CELEBRATES WITH A FREAKIN’ SWEET ONE-HOUR EVENT
SUNDAY, NOV. 11 ON FOX
FAMILY GUY has made a talking baby famous, resurrected the song It’s Peanut Butter Jelly Time, glorified chicken fights and turned Death into a loveable character. So it’s only fitting that this hugely popular animated series will celebrate its 200th episode with a spectacular one-hour event, including the milestone episode and a tribute to the Emmy Award-winning series, airing Sunday, Nov. 11 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
‘Watch your back, Simpsons, we’re less than halfway there,’ quipped Stewie Griffin.
The one-hour momentous event kicks off with the 200th episode, Yug Ylimaf, in which BRIAN (Seth MacFarlane) abuses STEWIE’s (MacFarlane) time machine and causes reality to run in reverse. So the two must work together to set things right before Stewie is ‘unborn.’ Then, in the FAMILY GUY 200th retrospective, The End Of The World As We Know It, fans will get a behind-the-scenes look at this irreverent comedy’s most outrageous moments, through fascinating interviews with creator Seth MacFarlane and voice actors Mila Kunis, Alex Borstein and Seth Green. Additionally, the special will give fans an exclusive glimpse into the cast and crew’s 200th episode party in Los Angeles, from the red carpet to MacFarlane serenading the party-goers, accompanied by an orchestra.
For 200 episodes, FAMILY GUY has followed the adventures of an endearingly ignorant dad, PETER GRIFFIN (MacFarlane), and his hilariously odd family of middle-class New Englanders in Quahog, RI. LOIS (Alex Borstein) is Peter’s wife, a stay-at-home mom with no patience for her family’s antics. Then there are their kids: 17-year-old MEG (Mila Kunis) is an outcast at school and the Griffin family punching bag; 13-year-old CHRIS (Seth Green) is a socially awkward teen who doesn’t have a clue about the opposite sex; and one-year-old Stewie is a diabolically clever baby whose burgeoning sexuality is very much a work in progress. Rounding out the Griffin household is Brian (MacFarlane), the family dog and a novelist who is one step away from AA.
FAMILY GUY is a 20th Century Fox Television production. Seth MacFarlane is creator/executive producer. Rich Appel serves as executive producer/showrunner, while Mark Hentemann, Steve Callaghan, Danny Smith, Alec Sulkin, Wellesley Wild and Kara Vallow are executive producers.
