Potter pirates put film on net

COMPUTER geeks have apparently used their technical wizardry to copy and distribute a pirated version of Warner Bros’ newest Harry Potter movie to the internet before its theatrical release today.
Warner Bros said yesterday a copy of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets had been leaked on the web, but the illicit copy was poor in quality, difficult to find and would have little impact on the movie’s opening.
“This should not affect the movie’s opening because of the copy’s poor quality and hard-to-find location on the internet,” a Warner spokeswoman said, noting it had appeared on some obscure websites.
