Hey everyone, I stayed away from all the Superman coverage because I hate dealing with rumors and speculation. Warner Brothers just issued a press release stating that the hunt for the next Superman is over – his name is Brandon Routh (pronounced Rowth). The official press release, along with his photo is below. I have to say, he actually looks the part. Although, I still would have preferred Smallville’s Tom Welling – even though this guy looks like he could be his brother.
