The Broadcast Television Critics Association has announced the nomination for the 3rd Annual Critics’ Choice Television Awards. In an announcement that suggests the BJTA pays far more attention to what’s actually good on TV, there are some new and interesting nominations in their list – including Orphan Black’s Tatiana Maslany for Best Actress in a Drama Series and Suburgatory’s Jeremy Sisto for Best Actor in a Comedy Series.
Cable networks HBO and FX lead in total nominations, with 21 and 19 respectively. The most nominated series were The Big Bang Theory and American Horror Story: Asylum with six apiece. At least nine other series scored four nominations, or more, apiece.
