House of Cards, Netflix’s first in-house drama series, is coming to DVD, Blu-ray and UltraViolet on June 11th. The complete first season will be released by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
The acclaimed political series (with a MetaCritic.com score of 76/100) – which stars Kevin Spacey as powerful but slighted Democratic House Majority Whip Frank Underwood and Robin Wright as his wife/partner in political revenge – is based an equally well-received series of British miniseries that starred Sir Ian Richardson.
