True Blood comic book series to be released

Hello True Blood fans! Comic-Con 2010 has been busy with all kinds of announcements. This particular announcement came on Friday the 23rd. Creator of True Blood Alan Ball, IDW Publishing, and HBO has teamed up together to bring fans a True Blood six-part comic book series. True Blood part one will be written by Alan Ball, David Tischman, Mariah Huehner, and David Messina with art by J.Scott Campbell, Joe Corroney, Andrew Currie, and Davis Messina. According to the HBO store, the story for True Blood #1 is outlined like this: “when Sookie and her friends are trapped by a vengeful spirit who feeds on shame. People die and dirty secrets are revealed as Sookie, Bill, Eric, Sam, Tara, Jason, and Lafayette and are all coerced to dig deep and tell painful memories from their past—those things we all have locked within us that we never tell another living soul!” True Blood will be available tomorrow July 28th and can be ordered through the HBO Store here:  http://store.hbo.com/detail.php?p=261204&v=hbo_best-sellers True Blood #1 will be available in four different covers. Personally, I don’t watch the series True Blood but I am looking forward to checking out the comic series. That’s only my thoughts.
