Get uncomfortable…! In the tradition of classic grindhouse movies, Blood Drive(premiering June 14 at 10/9c on Syfy) is a new series soaked in high-octane chaos and just barely approved for television.
After Los Angeles’ last good cop (Alan Ritchson) is forced to join a twisted cross-country death race, his only hope of survival is a dangerous femme fatale who has the need for speed (Christina Ochoa).
Oh, and forget gasoline… these cars run on human blood!
NBC has ordered 6 hour-long episodes of comedy/variety series I Can Do That (working title), based on an Israeli format, to be hosted by Marlon Wayans. Celebrities participating are acclaimed dancer and choreographer Cheryl Burke, superstar recording artists Joe Jonas, Nicole Scherzinger and Ciara, national standup comedian Jeff Dye and actor Alan Ritchson.
The tag for the series is that these celebrities will be asked to ‘bravely display entertainment skills they didn’t even know they had.’
I Can Do That is scheduled to premiere this summer. For further details, follow the jump.
