Williams is no stranger to the concert itself. She has performed at the concert and its sistership, The National Memorial Day Concert for many years. Last year, she served as co-host to ACF alongside John Stamos. We talked about her experiences with the program, her involvement with a new podcast just launched recently and her Independence Day traditions.

Get Ready for The Temptations are performing at A Capitol Fourth

In today’s INTERVUE, America is getting ready to turn 243 years this Saturday and we are celebrating n this style with our annual July 4th celebration, A Capitol Fourth on PBS! While the program is not taped live as with previous years, the fortieth anniversary promises to deliver the same triumphant performances that bring the country together for ninety spectacular minutes.

Today’s guest is part of the best vocal groups of all-time! With 14 No 1 singles on the R&B charts in the 60s & 70s, the mighty Temptations ruled radio waves to become one of the most dominant vocal groups of all time. Here to talk with me about his role on the 40th Anniversary we have the mighty Temptation himself, the legendary Otis Williams!
