One of my favorite events of the year – SyFy Digital Weekend is upon us. We’re here in Orlando, Florida for this year’s event. The highlight will be a private party at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter tomorrow night. Festivities kick off tonight with a Dinner and Bowling with the cast of Ascension. Whose brilliant idea was this? Now everyone will know about my big feet! My plan is to be too drunk to care.
Sharknado 3 is filming in DC and I’m going to start lobbying, Director Anthony C. Ferrante for a cameo! If only you all could be a fly on the wall and watch me be all shy and bashful at tonight’s dinner.
Tomorrow is the actual day of press conferences. We’re going to have panels with the casts from 12 Monkeys, Ascension, Helix, Killjoys, Town of the Living Dead, Z Nation and of course Sharknado.
This is an entirely new crew of folks for Digital weekend, no Being Human, Eureka, Sanctuary or Haven folks to party with. So we’re breaking in a bunch of newbies, it should be interesting.
