NYCC 2015: VIZ Media Adds Seven Titles For 2016!

VIZ Media announced the acquisition of seven new manga titles for 2016 at New York Comic Con 2015: the supernatural/fantasy/action series 7th Garden (above), Black Clover and Monster Hunter, the sports series Haikuyu!! and Kuroko’s Basketball, and a pair of shojo series, Everyone’s Getting Married and Yona of the Dawn.

Seven Exciting New Series Join VIZ Media’s Manga Roster For 2016 Including New Fantasy/Action, Sports And Shojo Manga Titles

San Francisco, CA, October 12, 2015 – VIZ Media, LLC (VIZ Media), the largest publisher, distributor and licensor of manga and anime in North America, delivered a special sneak preview of forthcoming manga (graphic novel) titles as it announced the acquisition of several notable new series during its official panel held this past weekend at the 2015 New York Comic Con.

VIZ Media delighted a packed audience at New York Comic Con, the East Coast’s largest pop culture event, as it detailed 7 newly acquired series for the company’s popular Shonen Jump, Shonen Jump Advanced, VIZ Media, and Shojo Beat imprints. The new titles will launch during the Spring and Summer of 2016 and will include the supernatural/fantasy/action series 7TH GARDEN, BLACK CLOVER and MONSTER HUNTER, the sports series HAIKYU!! and KUROKO’S BASKETBALL, and a pair of shojo series, EVERYONE’S GETTING MARRIED and YONA OF THE DAWN.
