Did you all know that former Disney Channel Star Bridgit Medler is from the DMV? I’ve been a fan of hers since the Disney Channel Movie Lemonade Mouth. The soundtrack and her debut album Hello My Name Is… have been on my weekly/monthly playlist for the last 3 years. She’s been focusing on her TV Career staring in the hit Disney show Good Luck Charlie and later the NBC Sitcom Undateable, so it’s been awhile since any new material has graced the airwaves. Demo Taped, the moniker of 18 year old Atlanta native Adam Alexander, is an Electronic Soul solo project dedicated to spreading love and good vibes. Adam strives to spread a general feeling of happiness and love through his upbeat rhythms, soft vocals and unique synth melodies with dreamy, electronic R&B textures.
In February 2015, Demo Taped released his debut EP Heart, made for the girl who broke his. Since then he has gone to gain the attention of Noisey, Beats 1, Hype Machine and more with his hit single “Game On.”
Since his first live performance at the Pigeons and Planes No Ceiling showcase at SXSW, he’s gone on to perform his track “Polarized” with Goldlink, toured with Vallis Alps, and most recently supported NAO across her UK tour. Now, Demo Taped will be touring the States this October with Wet.
