The new Star Trek looks good.
Being a Trekkie, I think they have a great look and it's good to see what they are going to do with the original Star Trek cast.

Unfortunately, I don't like that they did not see fit to bring in a dark complexioned African or African American woman to portray the role of Lt. 2. Nichelle is an amazing actress. And she set a high bar for playing Uhura. I don't worry about how dark the new actress playing Lt. Uhura is, I care about whether she can convince me that she is Uhura. I'm not expecting a Nichelle clone, I am expecting to see a character I can believe as a young Uhura. IF she can pull it off, kudos to her. Its a tough thing to take on a well known and beloved characters, such as the Star Trek group and not only make them believeable, but make them your own.
