The Mortal Kombat: Legacy web series reintroduced the characters of the hit video game, and two prior movies, to a huge audience (60 million views). That was more than enough to earn a second season – the trailer for which premiered online during the Streamy Awards.
To its already high-powered cast – Michael Jai White (Jax), Jeri Ryan (Sonya Blade), Tahmoh Penikett (Lt. Kurtis Stryker) – Mortal Kombat: Legacy II adds Marc Decascos (Kung Lao), Cary Hiroyiki-Tagawa (as Shang Tsung, reprising his role in the movies), Casper Van Diem (as Johnny Cage) and more.
As for a release date, all the trailer says is that Mortal Kombat: Legacy II is ‘Koming Soon.’
