It was touch and go for a minute there, I’ll admit it, SyFy Channel pissed me off earlier this week. You see, every year the fine folks at the SyFy channel have a Digital Press tour where they invite the digital press to spend a weekend (at our own expense!) with all their network stars and executives. It’s usually a fun event, this year’s event is in Orlando Florida and will include VIP tours of Universal Studios, private parties, and they are closing down The Wizarding World of Harry Potter for us to have a little private time. But they screwed me on my hotel reservations and I cussed them out and threatened not to attend – but the allure of private tours of Universal and a private party at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter got the better of me, we have smoothed everything out and now your fearless leader is jetting off to the place where bad things almost always happen – that cursed place known as Orlando, Fl – if I die an early, premature death in some freak accident, I guarantee it’ll be in Fla. Wish me luck!
Sunday is the official welcome and kick off party, Monday is a full day of SyFy panels, schmoozing and other goodness. I’ll be giving you full recaps of everything all next week, follow our twitter (#eclipsemagazine and my personal twitter account #malexandria) and facebook (facebook.com/eclipsemagazine) pages for plenty of live photos. This weekend will be either a blast or an unmitigated disaster, I promise you this if it is a disaster you will be entertained as I will vent my spleen.
