Denzel and Halle Berry Win!!!! You go Boy and Girl! Michelle’s Report

There were three surprises of the night for me and that was Halle Berry winning, you go girl! Denzel winning also shocked and surprised me. Two black people winning in one night. Man, we’re finally “”progressing”” in H’wood. And Jim Broadbent winning for that lame Iris. I mean that one was a complete shock. Well the fact that he was nominated at all surprised me, but that he won, when he wasn’t even on most radar people’s radar screens was amazing.

Were the voters “”high”” when they selected LOTR for the best movie score? That has to be the worst and lamest score that I’ve ever heard. Why not just give Danny Elfman an Oscar if you are going to pick “”drivel”” like this.I originally started a running commentary during the show, but got bored with it about an hr into it. The show itself, despite the surprises seemed so “”watered”” down and non interesting.
