Comics Hit Primetime TV

supergirl

Comic book characters—both the villains and superheroes depict the best and worst of humanity. Against huge odds, a hero has to stand up for what is best for his or her community.  The hero sometimes is an average person (like Spider-Man or Batman) or is born of another world (Superman), but regardless, they strive to do what is best for humanity. It’s a selfless act that we all admire and hope we’d do if ever given the chance. Perhaps this is why we are fascinated by the comic book stories.

While we are so used to seeing our favorite heroes on either comic books themselves, or at the box office, more and more, they are making a permanent appearance on our home screens. Yes, our favorite heroes have made it to Primetime TV. Now we can watch shows like Gotham (FOX), The Flash (CW), Supergirl (CBS), Legends of Tomorrow (CW), The Walking Dead (AMC), Krypton (Syfy), Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D (ABC) and others. What can be better than an on going plot that we can watch on a weekly basis? You can catch them all on DIRECTV.
