Michael Bay has made a movie about the Benghazi incident that got Hilary Clinton raked over the coals. A print crawl during the trailer declares ‘When everything went wrong six men had the courage to do what was right. This is a true story.’
13 Hours looks to be a rah-rah anthem to American patriotism – which, in and of itself is not a bad thing. I’m not sure turning an international tragedy that resulted in the death of an American ambassador to Libya into an action movie is the best idea, but Bay does make huge, clatteringly effective action movies.
