Warner Brothers virtual slate includes the cast of His Dark Materials (after a slow start S1 grew on me), Lovecraft Country, American dad and more. We Brought the Apocalypse With Us Trailer: The Umbrella Academy 2!

Some days you could argue that the Umbrella Academy are the world’s strangest superheroes (other days you could go with Doom Patrol).

The new trailer for The Umbrella Academy 2, however, makes a strong case for the group as they thought they’d prevented the end of the world just to discover they’d brought it with them – back to the early 1960s!

The Umbrella Academy 2 premieres on July 31st.

HULU UNVEILS OUTRAGEOUS & BELOVED NOMINEES FOR THE FIRST EVER ADULT ANIMATION ‘HAHA AWARDS!’

Hulu has created a new award to reward adult animation – the Hilarious Animated Hulu (HAHA)  Awards.

The awards recognize standard categories like Best New Show and Breakout Star of the Year, but also such non-standard awards as Best Fart Joke, Most Awkward Moment and Best Hangover.

The first nominees include shows like Archer, Bob’s Burgers and Solar Opposites. Voting is done by viewers (details below), with the winners being announced on Thursday, July 23rd.

The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Announces 2020 Induction Ceremony Exclusive HBO Special To Honor This Year’s Inductees!

This year’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Ceremony will be a little bit different in that it will be replaced by an exclusive HBO special detailing the inductees’ ‘stories of their incredible contributions to music and impact on a generation of artists that followed them.’

The special will be produced due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Amazon Prime Video has released the the teaser trailer for season two of its superhero satire, The Boys.

In season two, Stormfront, a new Supe arrives with an agenda of her own; Homelander seeks total control of The Seven; the Boys are in hiding and Billy Butcher is nowhere to be found.

The even more intense second season of The Boys premieres on Amazon Prime Video on September 4th.

Get Ready for The Temptations are performing at A Capitol Fourth

In today’s INTERVUE, America is getting ready to turn 243 years this Saturday and we are celebrating n this style with our annual July 4th celebration, A Capitol Fourth on PBS! While the program is not taped live as with previous years, the fortieth anniversary promises to deliver the same triumphant performances that bring the country together for ninety spectacular minutes.

Today’s guest is part of the best vocal groups of all-time! With 14 No 1 singles on the R&B charts in the 60s & 70s, the mighty Temptations ruled radio waves to become one of the most dominant vocal groups of all time. Netflix Announces Young Colin Kaepernick Limited Series!

Although Colin Kaepernick’s protest against police brutality was hijacked by those who thought it was disrepectful to the flag and military, time has shown it to be a prophetic stand leading to the exponential growth of the #BlackLivesMatter movement.

Netflix and Ava DuVernay are about to show us how Kaepernick became the man he is today with a dramatic limited series – Colin in Black & White – that focuses on Kaepernick’s formative high school years.
