Princess Leia, Tyrion Lannister and Sarah Connor are headed to Calgary, Canada for the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo. The annual show – running this year over the weekend of April 26-28 – is Western Canada’s largest comics and entertainment convention.

02.07.2013 Carrie Fisher heading to the Calgary Expo!
Carrie Fisher
As the daughter of Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher, Carrie Fisher was born into the world of celebrity. She made her film debut in 1975 in Shampoo, and two years later she took on the role that would forever change her life: Princess Leia Organa in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.
After the enormous success of Star Wars, she went on to appear in Laurence Olivier Presents, The Blues Brothers, and Come Back, Little Sheba. She then reprised her role in the next installment of Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, as well as Return of the Jedi.
Her first novel, Postcards from the Edge, was published in 1987 which established her as an accomplished writer. It was later adapted into a film which starred Meryl Streep and Dennis Quaid.
Carrie also penned a one-woman play entitled Wishful Drinking, in which she also performed.
Some of her other credits include Scream 3, The ‘Burbs, When Harry Met Sally, and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.
02.05.2013 Cast members from HBO’s Game of Thrones coming to the Calgary Expo!
Peter Dinklage
Peter is an Emmy award winning, Golden Globe purveying, and Scream Award wielding actor whose outstanding performance on Game of Thrones has garnered him international attention.
Originally from New Jersey, Peter’s rise to fame began with appearances in such productions as The Station Agent, Elf, Underdog, Death at a Funeral, and The Chronicles of Narnia.
He is, of course, prominently known for his character on Game of Thrones – Tyrion Lannister. Upcoming productions involving Peter include Knights of Badassdom, and The Angriest Man in Brooklyn.
Convention appearance: Peter will be appearing Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the Calgary Expo to sign autographs, do photo ops, and participate in a spot light panel.

Lena Headey
Born in Bermuda and raised in England, Lena took her first steps as an actress while studying at Shelley College. Some of her earlier roles include The Remains of the Day, Waterland, and The Jungle Book. She would later go on to star alongside Matt Damon and Heath Ledger in The Brothers Grimm. Lena’s popularity sky rocketed as she took on the role of Queen Gorgo in 300, a film based on Frank Miller’s graphic novel, as well as Sarah Connor in The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
She is perhaps best known for her work on the critically acclaimed TV series, Game of Thrones, as Cersei Lannister.
Convention appearance: Lena will be appearing Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the Calgary Expo to sign autographs, do photo ops, and participate in panels.
