In the past I’ve always let folks post whatever comment they wanted on the site, no matter how vile or offensive and I would happily sink to your level and respond in kind, but you know what? Now that people are posting again, I’m changing the rules. I run Eclipse for fun and I want it to continue to be a nice place to hang out, I want to be able to visit my own site without seeing 60 different posts of people calling me a fat whore or stupid bitch. I used to get a kick out of childish fanboys putting their total ignorance on display and having people defend me. But after doing this site for 11 years, it’s no longer fun, it’s old and disruptive. So from this point forward if you can’t be intelligent in your disagreements or resort to name calling, I will delete your comment and ban you. I don’t care if you don’t like me or disagree, I welcome debate on this site, but we’re not Ain’t It Cool News and I’m no longer going to allow childish vitriolic comments. If you want to say I suck, that’s fine, I’m fully aware that my opinions aren’t mainstream and fully expect and welcome the backlash. Just do it with some style and like a grownup.
