2017 Golden Globe Nominations Announced!

The 79th Annual Golden Globes nominations were announced this morning and while there were a lot newcomers on the TV side, the film noms didn’t feature many real surprises.

Coming the day after the Critics’ Choice Awards, La La Land continued to be the leader in noms with seven – including Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, Best Director, Best Actress/Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy.

On the TV side, four of the Best Drama noms were first timers: The Crown, Stranger Things, This Is Us and Westworld. The pêople vs. O.J. Simpson led in total noms with 5.

HBO led all networks with 14 nominations.
