Almost every fan and viewer of Supernatural knows that Jared Padalecki, who plays Sam Winchester on the hit series, loves animals and supports the adoption and caring for of rescued animals. His own two beloved dogs, Harley and Sadie, are rescues.
In 2009 Padalecki became involved in supporting an organization known as A Dog’s Life Rescue. Jared Padalecki, in conjunction with the fansite Support Supernatural, has recently made a short video asking fans and viewers of Supernatural to go and vote for A Dog’s Life Rescue at the Chase Community site
The Chase Bank charity support program on Face Book is called Chase Community Giving. This is where supporters of various charities can go and vote for their favorite charities to receive money from Chase Bank to benefit the chosen charity.
A Dog’s Life Rescue is among those that can be voted on to receive financial donation from this organization.
A Dog’s Life Rescue is a non-profit rescue organization in Los Angeles, California. After the disband of Connect-A-Pet Rescue in early 2005 partners Julia Pennington and Allison Lange joined together to form A Dog’s Life Rescue. Our mission is to save the lives of abandoned, abused, or neglected dogs and other animals, by providing shelter, care, and medical attention to homeless animals through adoption, adoption events, and community outreach. Further, to promote animal welfare and the importance of spaying and neutering.
